My Story

Our Story

Every piece has a past life. Every purchase writes a new chapter.

Hi, I'm the heart behind WarmRainyDay.com

WarmRainyDay.com was born from a simple belief: beautiful things shouldn't have to cost the earth. I started this little brand because I couldn't stop seeing potential in materials that the world had written off — vintage fabrics, forgotten jewelry findings, remnant textiles, and secondhand treasures just waiting to become something new.

What began as a personal creative practice — reworking thrifted pieces on rainy afternoons — slowly became something I couldn't keep to myself. Friends started asking where I got my earrings. Strangers stopped me on the street. And I realized: people are hungry for things that are made with intention.

Why Upcycling?

The fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world. Fast fashion churns out trends and waste at a pace the planet simply can't sustain. Upcycling is my small, stubborn act of resistance.

When I upcycle, I'm not just making something pretty — I'm keeping materials out of landfills, reducing demand for new production, and honoring the craftsmanship that went into the original piece. Every item I create starts with a question: What can this become?

How Each Piece Is Made

Nothing here is mass-produced. Every piece is made by hand, one at a time, in my studio. I source materials from estate sales, thrift stores, vintage markets, and fabric remnant bins. I look for quality, character, and stories.

From there, I clean, sort, and reimagine. Some copper wire becomes a one of a kind pendant or earrings. A remnant of hand-dyed fabric becomes a one-of-a-kind jacket or poncho. Copper findings get polished and paired in ways that feel fresh but timeless.

Because I work with reclaimed materials, no two pieces are ever exactly alike. That's not a limitation — it's the whole point. When you wear something from WarmRainyDay.com, you're wearing something that exists nowhere else in the world.

What Makes Each Piece Unique

  • One-of-a-kind materials — sourced from vintage and secondhand markets, never from mass suppliers
  • Handmade construction — cut, assembled, and finished by hand with care and attention to detail
  • Sustainable intention — every design decision considers longevity, wearability, and minimal waste
  • A real story — each piece carries the history of its materials and the love of its making
